- The "Reprocessing" tab in the Tour Editor will appear for all scenes shot after June 20th, 2019. Earlier tours will not have this feature. The "Reprocessing" feature will only appear after the scene is completely processed. Therefore, if the "floorplan" option is enabled then "reprocessing" will only then be available.
- Scene reprocessing takes a considerable amount of time, almost as long as the original processing. Be sure to make bulk changes in order to minimize the number of times you will need to reprocess.
- When reprocessing is completed an e-mail notification will be sent.
- Reprocessing will block some features like photo extraction until the reprocessing is finished.
This tab allows you to replace panoramas and viewpoints shot by GeoCV scanner (or added previously). After downloading panoramas and editing them in any software you prefer, simply drag & drop the panoramas you want to replace in the "Panoramas" field. You could also click on the field to browse for the files on your computer.
IMPORTANT: Do not rename panoramas. They should have the same name as when you downloaded them. Don't use "Offset" or "Distort" (or similar) filters, panoramas should keep the same view position as they had before.
After uploading, panoramas will be checked if they match the original ones and accepted if everything is correct. If there is no such panorama in the scene or it looks completely different it would be declined. A warning could be received if the file exists and some changes are present that look suspicious. In this case, please check the files on your side. After ensuring everything is correct, you could press on "Start Reprocessing" button to begin the process.
Once the reprocessing has started you can safely close your browser and come back to the Tour Editor at any point to check the status.
This tab allows you to add any 360 panorama to a 3D tour as a viewpoint. It should be a JPEG or PNG file with a 2:1 aspect ratio. Any resolution can be accepted as long as it fits the 2:1 aspect ratio. Any other aspect ratio would be declined, so be sure your camera or panorama stitching output is set up correctly.
IMPORTANT: Panoramas shot by GeoCV scanner while shooting a scene should be placed in the "Panoramas" tab even if they are viewpoints. Placing them into the "Viewpoints" tab would cause an error. This feature is to be used to add external panoramas to the 3D tour such as aerial 360 panoramas.
This tab is only available if the scene had the floorplan option selected. You can't add a floorplan to the scene without it.
This tab allows you to modify floorplans used in the scene after downloading them (custom floorplans are not supported). After downloading the floorplan zip folder, you will want to modify the file(s) that end in .png (ie: "floorplan1.png", "floorplan2.png", "floorplan3.png" etc.).
IMPORTANT: Make sure to retain the same resolution as the original file.
The most common use of this feature is to change the room labels, remove total sqft, and change the layout of the floorplan. You could also add closets, terraces, patios, garages, etc. as long as they fit in the provided image resolution. File with a changed resolution would be declined.
After floor plan reprocessing has finished, you will be able to correctly position, scale and orient the floor plan inside the "Floor Plans" tab on the left side menu of the Tour Editor.
