It is absolutely essential that during capture the phone is always fully inserted into the bracket and there is no room for the phone to be pushed further inside. Phone misplacement is a critical issue that leads to invalid capture results due to broken calibration and the phone’s camera being occluded by the bracket.

There are two main cases which may lead to phone misplacement if caution is not exercised:
- Inserting the phone after it was taken out. Make sure that the phone fully slides in up to the contact with the left side of the bracket.
- Plugging the sensor data cable from the phone. Make sure that the force you create by plugging out the cable does not make the phone slide out of the bracket. It is recommended to hold the phone with your fingers to keep it still.
